University officials consider tuition hike at Mizzou

The University of Missouri Board of Curators is looking at tuition hikes this fall.

Members will review a financial report recommending a 5% tuition bump at Mizzou during their meeting on Thursday. Smaller increases are being proposed for the other system campuses.

The report says the university has had to cut teachers because of financial struggles, and it will be tough to maintain quality education for students without bringing in more money.
