A Moberly man accused of last week’s deadly shooting of a 23-year-old woman is scheduled to make his initial arraignment Monday afternoon in Huntsville.
Randolph County prosecutors have charged 68-year-old David Kip Heyde with second degree murder. Redacted court documents quote Heyde as saying last Sunday’s deadly shooting started after the woman confronted him about feeding and shooting birds. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s probable cause statement quotes Heyde as saying he had never seen 23-year-old Bailey Scott before she came to his door and confronted him about feeding birds.
