The winter weather advisory includes Audrain, Boone, Randolph, Monroe and Chariton counties. NWS St. Louis meteorologist Jayson Gosselin tells 939 the Eagle that the bulk of the freezing rain and freezing drizzle are expected between until about 10 this morning in the Moberly, Higbee, Huntsville and Madison areas. Residents in those areas should consider delaying travel until later today.

NWS St. Louis meteorologist Lydia Jaja notes they’ve added Audrain and Boone counties to the advisory. She tells 939 the Eagle that while the best chance of freezing rain is to Columbia’s north, we could see freezing rain as well in the Columbia and Mexico areas.
