Columbia and Boone County first responders worked several water rescues Tuesday night across the area.
National Weather Service (NWS) St. Louis meteorologist Alex Elmore tells 939 the Eagle that Columbia has seen 3.04 inches of rain, as of 7 this (Wednesday) morning. Crews from Columbia Water and Light and Boone Electric have worked around-the-clock to restore power in mid-Missouri. Columbia Water and Light has now restored power to everyone. There were about 2,500 residents without power at one point last night.
Boone Electric has also restored power to all.
