The Columbia Police Department’s heavily-redacted probable cause statement says 43-year-old Robert Bondick attacked the woman as she followed him in the hallway for constantly playing loud noise and disturbing her. The court documents say the 73-year-old woman suffered two blackened eyes, multiple facial fractures and a broken arm.

The court documents also say that once the victim fell to the ground, surveillance video shows Bondick punching her eight times in the face and head area. Bondick is also accused of placing a 911 call to Joint Communications, saying the elderly neighbor had chased him, spit on him and threatened to kill him.

Bondick lives next door to the victim. He is expected to make his initial court appearance today in Boone County Circuit Court.
