A Boone County grand jury has indicted a Columbia man on eight felony counts of statutory sodomy.
66-year-old Jimmy Joe Culbertson was indicted by the grand jury on Friday afternoon, and remains jailed without bond this afternoon. Culbertson, who is represented by Jefferson City defense attorney Daniel Dodson, will be arraigned before Boone County Circuit Judge Jeff Harris on August 12.
The graphic heavily-redacted four-page Boone County grand jury indictment alleges that the victim or victims in this case are under the age of 12.
