The nation’s fastest-growing airport saw another record in July, shattering numbers from June, which was also a record-setting month.
Columbia Regional Airport (COU) manager Michael Parks tells 939 the Eagle that 21,826 passengers flew out of Columbia Regional in July, up from June’s record-setting number of 19,584. Mr. Parks also says all three airlines, American, United and Allegiant, saw double-digit growth in July from June.

Mr. Parks says COU’s flights are full and he’s thanking the community for supporting the airport.

Allegiant began flying from COU to Florida in June and American started nonstop service from Columbia to Charlotte in June as well. Mr. Parks has told 939 the Eagle that he looks forward to long-term partnership with the three airlines serving COU.
