No injuries are reported in Thursday afternoon’s bomb threat at Columbia’s Conley road Walmart.

The incident started at about 1:10 and police say initial information indicated pipe bombs had been planted inside Walmart. Columbia Police evacuated the building and vehicles in the parking lot, before CPD’s K-9 explosives dog and bomb technician searched the building and found no explosives.

Columbia Police thank Ashland Police for their assistance with crowd and traffic control.
