UPDATE: CPD says Columbia man set on fire Sunday night has life-threatening injuries

Columbia Police need your help in finding a suspect who set an adult on fire late Sunday night in the 1500 block of Paris road.

CPD investigators say an unknown assailant set the porch and an adult victim on fire. Columbia Police say the victim is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Columbia Police say the suspect then fled the area on a bicycle toward College Avenue. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a hat and white t-shirt. CPD says he has brown hair and a mustache and is described as 35 to 40 years old and about six feet tall with a thin build. Columbia Police describe their investigation as ongoing.
