State troopers say a man from eastern Missouri’s Troy has been killed in Wednesday morning’s two-vehicle crash on I-70 in Callaway County, near the 161 mile marker.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report says the incident happened at about 9:30 am, when the driver of a Ford F250 crossed the center of the road and struck the towed unit of a tractor trailer. Both vehicles were eastbound. State troopers say the driver of the Ford F250 skidded off the left side of the road and struck several median cable posts before coming to rest on its top.
The Highway Patrol identifies the driver as 27-year-old Clayton Hulme, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of freightliner was not injured, according to the Patrol’s report.
