She dropped the first degree murder and armed criminal action charges that day and Knight pleaded guilty to second degree murder. Collin Knight has admitted in open court that he stabbed his father to death at a home on South Old Route A in the Hartsburg area. The father was stabbed more than 15 times.

Judge Devine has also revoked Knight’s probation for two 2019 convictions for felony domestic assault. That sentence will run concurrent to the life prison sentence for second degree murder.
