Two Boonville motorists have been killed in Wednesday afternoon’s head-on crash on Highway 87, near Hail Ridge court.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:45 pm on Wednesday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report says the incident happened when a 24-year-old Boonville motorist crossed the center line on Highway 87 and struck a Ford F-150 driven by a 77-year-old man. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by the Cooper County coroner.
The Patrol’s crash report says neither driver wore a seat belt.
