Jefferson City Police and other law enforcement agencies have captured an armed suspect who was apparently on the run Tuesday morning.
Jefferson City Police Captain Dave Williams says the suspect is now in custody. The suspect’s name has not been released. Captain Williams has released few details, saying they were looking for a white male who is bald and has tattoos. Police say they were looking for an armed suspect. JCPD officers and multiple agencies were seen searching in the Rumsey lane and South Country Club drive area.
No injuries are reported, and Captain Williams tells 939 the Eagle that there are no other suspects.
