Kawasaki, Caterpillar and Isle of Capri are just a few of the 59 exhibiters at Thursday’s Boonslick education and job Expo in Boonville. Most exhibiters are employers, and they will be accepting resumes for positions. Schools will also be represented.
Kawasaki has announced it’s building a manufacturing plant in Boonville, creating more than 270 new jobs. Production at that plant will begin in May 2022.
Boonville economic development director Gigi Quinlan McAreavy encourages you to bring multiple resumes to provide to employers, during the face-to-face meetings.
Today’s event is from 9 am to 1 pm at Boonville’s Isle of Capri. While most of the employers are from Boonville and Cooper County, employers from Boone and Pettis Counties will also attend.
