We’re told Bret Kelly still needs a lot of therapy. More than 165 people have contributed to a GoFundMe for Mr. Kelly and his wife: the GoFundMe has raised more than $43,000 and aims to raise $45,000.

Mr. Kelly has also served with Columbia-based Missouri Task Force One and has always helped others.

The GoFundMe is helping Mr. Kelly and his wife with medical bills and lost incomes. The GoFundMe says Bret fell from scaffolding at an old church while working to remove ceiling joists. The grandfather of six suffered brain bleeds, facial fractures, a spine fracture and numerous other injuries.
