Columbia Police say a missing 90-year-old woman with dementia has been found this (Thursday) afternoon and is okay. Columbia Police spokesman Colin Imhoff tells 939 the Eagle that Nancy Thrower is back home and was found at about 12:30 pm.
What we know: Columbia Police say she walked away from her home on Westwinds Court Wednesday afternoon. CPD issued an endangered silver advisory for Thrower and they thank the community for the many calls. CPD also had assistance from other law enforcement agencies. They include Boone County Sheriff’s deputies, MUPD, Ashland Police, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Boone County Fire Protection District.
Westwinds Court is west of Memorial Stadium.
