The Missouri Tiger football team has reclaimed the Mayor’s Cup, after Saturday night’s thrilling come-from-behind 29-20 win over South Carolina at Faurot field.

The game featured seven lead changes. Mizzou has moved up three slots in the new Associated Press (AP) college football poll released on Sunday, going from #23 to #20. Mizzou improves to 4-0 and it is also Mizzou’s 14th straight home win.

Tiger running back Ahmad Hardy carried the ball 23 times for 138 yards and a touchdown.

Mizzou’s defense was outstanding, limiting the Gamecocks to minus-9 yards rushing. That’s the fewest rushing yards Mizzou has allowed in a Southeastern Conference (SEC) game since joining the conference in 2012.
