The courts have banned a Columbia man from being on the premises of any McDonald’s or Taco Bell in Boone County, after he allegedly followed people with an axe overnight and screamed at others.

The overnight incident happened at McDonald’s and Taco Bell on Columbia’s East Business Loop. 30-year-old Allen Hauck of Columbia is jailed without bond tonight (Thursday), after being charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action, two felonies.

CPD’s probable cause statement quotes Hauck as admitting he’s a drug user. The court documents allege he brandished the axe in a threatening manner. Multiple 911 callers say the suspect was following people at McDonald’s and Taco Bell with the axe just after midnight this (Thursday) morning. CPD’s probable cause statement quotes one witness as saying Hauck was following women with the axe. That witness confronted Hauck, who allegedly said “I’m coming for all y’all.” The witness says Hauck kept screaming and coming toward him with the axe.

A motion from Boone County assistant prosecutor Paul Boyd says Hauck has prior convictions in Nebraska and describes him as a flight risk. The motion says Hauck has had numerous failure to appear charges in Doge County, Nebraska.

Online court records indicate Hauck does not have an attorney yet.
