Graphic court documents say the victims suffered chemical burns and went into shock at the Truman VA hospital. 22-year-old suspect Maxon Castle of the Lake of the Ozarks is charged with two counts of second degree assault. The incident happened on the Bear Creek trail near Garth avenue.

A court filing from the Boone County prosecutor’s office says it was a random incident. Court documents say the chemicals came close to being sprayed into the women’s eyes. The court has banned Castle from being on the Bear Creek trail.
