No injuries are reported in Thursday morning’s crash involving two tractor trailers on busy Highway 63 near 763 north of Columbia.
The crash closed both northbound and southbound Highway 63 for more than one hour, causing major traffic backups.
Boone County Fire Protection District assistant chief Chuck Doss says ten volunteer firefighters responded to the scene quickly with two engines, two tankers and two rescue squads.
He says one tractor trailer was carrying lumber while the other was hauling two tractors and a utility vehicle.
