Another tractor trailer has jackknifed in the snow on I-70 in mid-Missouri, with the latest being on westbound I-70 near Stadium.

Boone County Joint Communications tells 939 the Eagle that traffic is backed up to West Boulevard and is being re-routed. Numerous wreckers and tow trucks are being sent to the scene. Avoid the area if possible.

Meantime, heavy snow continues to fall in mid-Missouri, with more on its way. At least five inches of snow are on the ground in Columbia, and we’ll get an update from the National Weather Service (NWS) in St. Louis this afternoon. NWS St. Louis meteorologist Mark Fuchs tells 939 the Eagle that the winter storm warning goes until 6 Thursday morning.
