A Columbia man has been killed in Tuesday morning’s collision with a tractor trailer at I-70’s 117-mile marker in Boone County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at about 9:25 am Tuesday near I-70’s Harrisburg/Huntsdale exit. The Patrol’s crash report says a tractor trailer driven by a Florida man was slowing down due to a motor vehicle crash that was ahead on the interstate. Troopers say 22-year-old Joshua Hulse’s Chevy Impala struck the rear of the tractor trailer and the vehicle became lodged under the trailer.
Mr. Hulse was pronounced dead at the scene. The Patrol says the truck driver was not injured. The Patrol’s crash report says both drivers were wearing seat belts.
