UPDATE: Two juveniles arrested for Columbia shooting; one suspect allegedly tampered with witness

Columbia Police have arrested two juveniles for Wednesday morning’s shooting of a teen on East Sexton Road.

Police investigators say one juvenile is charged with first degree assault, armed criminal action and tampering with a witness. The other is charged with assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

Because both suspects are juveniles, their names have not been released.

The female teen victim suffered non life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
