Columbia-based Veterans United Home Loans has announced that its popular holiday lights display will return in December in Columbia, marking the seventh year of the community event.
VU announced in December that 2025 would be the final display; however, they say they have worked through the logistical considerations that prompted that decision.
VU says the drive-through display aims to bring cheer and connection to the Columbia community. This year’s public nights are December 10-20.
The event is free. VU says about 100,000 vehicles have driven through the display since 2020. The 2026 display will feature more than one-million LED lights at VU’s main campus on Veterans United Drive near South Providence.
