Columbia Water and Light says the Easter Sunday storms that moved through the region caused heavy damage to 15 transmission line poles along Route B/Paris road. Columbia Water and Light line crews and contractor Par Electric are working to replace the poles. Municipal utility crews from Rolla and Macon are in Columbia to assist on other issues across the city.

The city currently has four outages impacting 105 residents.
