Local Republicans have officially chosen Sara Walsh as their candidate to take over a Missouri House seat.
The Columbia native was officially picked during the 50th District’s legislative committee meeting in Ashland Saturday.
She would replace Republican Caleb Jones as state representative. He’s taken a job in the Greitens administration.
Democrats have nominated Michela Skelton for the special election in August.
