A suspected violent gangster from the state of California is arrested in Jefferson City.
Officers say they were checking on something else on West Ashley at about 2 p.m. Saturday when they spotted Steven Lopez sitting in a car. They’d heard he might be in the area.
Lopez, 25, tried to run but was caught. He allegedly would not cooperate, but the use of fingerprints uncovered his identity. He’s wanted for attempted murder and attempted kidnapping in Visalia, California.
