Wanted Columbia man caught after car chase

Callaway County authorities track down a wanted Columbia man after a long car chase.

Investigators say they spotted a car stolen from Columbia at a Kingdom City business on Wednesday afternoon. Joseph Jenkins allegedly sped away from a deputy who tried to pull him over. The chase went on Highway 54, Interstate 70, and a couple county roads before finally ending when the stolen car crashed west of Hatton.

Jenkins, a 25-year-old from Columbia, was originally wanted for felony burglary and forgery.
