Weber spins no-hitter as Mizzou softball wins regional championship

A no-hitter helps send Mizzou softball back to the NCAA Super Regionals.

Sophomore pitcher Jordan Weber allowed no hits in seven innings in a 5-0 win over Iowa State Sunday at the Mizzou Softball Stadium. The Tigers won three straight games in the Columbia Regional in shutout fashion.

Mizzou, the nation’s No. 8 seed, will now host a best-of-three series against James Madison starting Friday. The winner moves on to the Women’s College World Series in early June.
