White House officials defy congressional subpoenas

(AP) – More transcripts are set to be released by the House impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, transcripts of depositions expected to be made public come from former special envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland.

As far as new witnesses in the investigation, four White House officials defied subpoenas on orders from the White House and didn’t show up for questioning on Monday.
