Winter weather cancels school for dozens of mid-Missouri districts

Columbia Public Schools (CPS), Jefferson City Public Schools (JCPS) and numerous other mid-Missouri school districts and schools are closed today (Thursday), due to winter weather.

CPS also says today’s Columbia school board work session will be rescheduled for a later date.

Harrisburg schools, Hallsville schools, Cole County R-5 in Eugene and Iberia R-5 schools are a few of the other school districts closed today. Columbia’s Our Lady of Lourdes school and Fr. Tolton are also closed today, along with Holy Family in Freeburg.
