A woman is dead after a one-car crash east of Columbia.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies say Ashley Wegner, 33, was driving her Honda minivan on South Rangeline Road near East Carter School Road around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Her car left the road and overturned, ejecting her. Wegner died at the scene.
Investigators say speeding may have been a factor.
