UPDATE – 2:30 p.m.: Columbia police said the woman who suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday morning is in stable condition.
The woman was shot in the 2600 block of Eastwood Drive just after 1 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found the 31-year-old woman and rushed her to a local hospital.
CPD said their detectives have identified a person of interest and the investigation is ongoing.
ORIGINAL: A woman is suffering from life-threatening injuries after she was shot in north Columbia Thursday morning.
ABC17 News reports police are investigating the shooting that happened just after 1 a.m. in the 2600 block of Eastwood Drive.
Police do not have any suspect information to release at this time, but they said there’s no threat to the public.
