COLUMBIA, Mo. – Columbia police say a man who was shot on West Worley Street Wednesday afternoon has died as a result of his injuries.
According to police, Charles Hayes, 30, received medical aid at the scene and at a local hospital, but died Wednesday.
Law enforcement responded to a report of shots heard just after 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of West Worley, and found Hayes at the scene with a gunshot wound.
