You have an opportunity to participate in “Wreaths Across America” Saturday morning.

The event honors America’s veterans and takes place at each of the five Missouri Veteran cemeteries at 11 am. One mid-Missouri ceremony is planned for tomorrow at the Jacksonville veterans cemetery, which is near Highway 63 north of Moberly.

Volunteers have been placing wreaths on headstones and in front of columbarium walls.
