Investigators use sonar technology in 9th day searching for missing woman

Investigators are wrapping up their 9^th day in the search for Mengqi Ji Elledge.

Columbia police announced that through the sonar technology they used, additional information was found, however the search is not over.

Investigators continue to evaluate all of the information gathered to determine the next steps of the investigation.

Mengqi has been missing more than two months.

Prosecutors say her husband is the prime suspect but they haven’t charged him over it yet.

Joseph Elledge is in jail on a felony child abuse charge.
