Suspect in Darnell Gray case in court

The caregiver accused in the death of Darnell Gray was scheduled in court Thursday morning for an arraignment.

Quatavia Givens allegedly told police where the four-year-old Jefferson City boy’s body was, and said “I may have hit him wrong.”

Darnell’s body was found in some woods in October. Givens first reported him missing days earlier. She is accused of felony child abuse resulting in death.
