Serious injuries in crash near Auxvasse

A Fulton man has serious injuries after a crash.

Troopers say a car tried to pass Douglas Branson’s pickup on Route E near Auxvasse late Thursday morning. A different car pulled out of a private driveway, and the driver of the car on the road swerved out of the way of it and into the pickup. The pickup flipped and Branson, 51, was ejected.

Branson is in a Columbia hospital at last check.
