Authorities have released the name of the suspect accused in an Ashland homicide.
Ashland police chief Gabe Edwards says that Robin Morales-Sanchez, 19, is still wanted, and could be armed.
“We’ve established that he’s got a propensity for violence, and also we haven’t located the instrument that was used during the assault the other night so it’s quite plausible that he’s still carrying whatever that instrument is,” said Edwards on Wake Up Columbia.
Morales-Sanchez is accused of stabbing Moises Hernandez-Sanchez, 47, to death on East Liberty Lane early Friday. Investigators say Morales-Sanchez also assaulted another victim during the incident. Morales-Sanchez is facing charges of second degree murder, first degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action.
Edwards added they believe the suspect and victims knew each other.
