A key Missouri state senator wants to create an Office of Entrepreneurship within the state Department of Economic Development (DED).
Senate Economic Development Committee Chair Denny Hoskins (R-Warrensburg) will present his bill this (Wednesday) afternoon to the House Special Committee on Government Oversight in Jefferson City.
Under Hoskins’ Senate Bill 807, DED would hire someone to promote policies and initiatives to support growth of entrepreneurship, including minority entrepreneurship in Missouri.
The Senate has approved the Hoskins bill 23-7.
