A Boonville hospital is closing its doors.
Pinnacle Regional Hospital released a statement on Facebook saying it will stop operations Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The release said, “Following further discussions with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, it has been determined that the economic hardship of bringing the facility into compliance is too great to make the appropriate repairs necessary.”
The hospital’s ER will remain open for the next 14 days.
