Three Columbia Public Schools (CPS) middle schools will be getting buzz-in systems and a secure vestibule.
Columbia’s school board has awarded a $369,000 bid to Columbia’s Grove construction for the projects at Gentry, Lange and Smithton middle schools.
Funding will come from a voter-approved bond issue, and the project will also include replacement of the existing entry flooring with new slip-resistant vinyl composite tile.
Grove submitted the lowest of the three bids.
