Central Columbia home struck by gunfire; no injuries are reported

While no injuries are reported, Columbia Police confirm one house was struck by gunfire Tuesday evening on Oak street.

The incident happened at about 10:50 last night in the 400 block of Oak. CPD spokeswoman Toni Messina tells 939 the Eagle that several callers heard gunshots. Officers were then dispatched to the scene.

Crews from our news partner KMIZ saw at least nine evidence markers in the area and saw a crime scene investigation van.
