Central Methodist signs first female football player

Central Methodist University in Fayette is adding a free safety named Toni to its football team. It’s short for Antoinette.

Toni Harris (center) is believed to be the first female skill position player to sign up for college football on scholarship.

She is a 5’7″ free safety from Los Angeles who was recently featured in a Toyota Super Bowl ad.
