Columbia has announced three finalists to be the next fire chief.
Maria Beermann-Foat is in emergency services in Johnson County, Kansas. Christopher Riley is a former fire chief in Pueblo and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Andy Woody is the fire chief in Searcy, Arkansas. See more info on each of them here.
Randy White retired in October after more than 20 years with the Columbia Fire Department.
The city is hosting a public meet-and-greet with the three finalists at the REDI building on E. Walnut St. from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
