A Columbia man is jailed without bond this morning, after being charged with first degree murder in what police describe as a domestic disturbance.
21-year-old Samuel Ethan Brotherton is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action for Sunday evening’s death of Rollin Thompson in the 3800 block of Pinecrest drive, west of Brown Station. Thompson was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Brotherton could be arraigned today. Boone County Prosecutor Dan Knight filed the charges against him.
The CPD investigation continues.
