Columbia man leads high-speed chase in Waynesville

A Columbia man led officers on a high-speed chase near Waynesville.

ABC 17 reports Matthew Brown is now in custody after trying to escape officers that pulled him over Thursday morning.

The chase started at Route 42 and Highway A in Miller County. Brown ran into a police car and several fences during the chase.

There were several passengers in the car including a three-year old child. No one was hurt.
