Columbia authorities say they dealt with about a dozen overdoses within an hour Wednesday evening.
They all happened on Wilkes Boulevard near Seventh Street, or in the area of extended stay motels, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
CPD says K2 was involved. The synthetic marijuana can be laced with other drugs or poisons.
No one has died from the overdoses at last check.
