One person is still on the run after a car chase and manhunt near Kingdom City.
Authorities say a car with stolen plates drove away from a traffic stop on I-70 at about 11 a.m. Wednesday yesterday (wed) by leaving the interstate, crossing a ditch, and getting on a county road. That car was abandoned southwest of Kingdom City near Callaway County roads 220 and 210.
One person has been arrested after an hours-long manhunt that includes Highway Patrol helicopters and a sheriff’s K9 unit. Investigators now say they think the second suspect has left the Kingdom City area.
