Columbia reaches settlement with family of child killed by police SUV

The city of Columbia has reached a settlement with the parents of a little girl run over by a police SUV and killed.

The judge kept the terms of the agreement sealed on Monday.

Four-year-old Gabriella Curry was on a sidewalk at Battle High School when the police SUV hit her in January. The Highway Patrol is still investigating what happened.

The officer that hit the girl, Andria Heese, is still on paid administrative leave.
